ZippZapp is a local business discovery platform. People search for what they need; nearby shops that sell it show up.
Why this exists
Ranchi is full of shops that know their trade. What most of them lack is a way to be found by someone a few streets away who needs exactly what they stock, at the moment they need it.
Meanwhile people asking “where can I get this nearby?” end up guessing, asking friends, or driving to the same market they always go to. ZippZapp is an attempt to close that gap in one search.
How we make money
Businesses pay to advertise. Higher plans get more space on screen when someone searches. That is the whole model, and we would rather say it plainly than dress it up.
One rule keeps it honest: paying never affects whether a shop matches your search, only how prominent it is among shops that already do. Paid placements are labelled Sponsored. If that stopped being true the results would stop being worth reading, and the business would be worth nothing.
What we do not do
We do not sell products, take payment on a shop's behalf, deliver anything, or take a cut of what you spend. When you find a shop here you deal with that shop directly, exactly as you would if you had walked in.
Where this goes
Ranchi first, properly, before anywhere else. A directory with thin coverage in ten cities is useless; one with real coverage in one city is worth opening. If it works here, other cities in Jharkhand follow.
